About us
Saad Studio is a multidisciplinary art studio that works across design, photography, printing, production, and workshops that encourage experimentation and participation.
We also aim to support independent designers and artists through publishing, printing, distribution, and organizing art exhibitions. Saad Studio also provides a space that brings together designers, photographers, and artists from different fields to create opportunities for collaboration and learning.
Our Team
We are a team of five members from different artistic and technical backgrounds, who came together to provide opportunities and spaces that were not available in the arts in general, and in the fields of design and photography in particular.
Moira Ali
Co-Founder and Head of Design
Co-founder and Head of the Design Department at Saad the Studio, she is a graphic designer and illustrator whose work focuses on visual journalism. She graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts, Graphic Design Department at the German University in Cairo, and later obtained a Master’s degree in Visual Arts for Journalism from the European Higher School of Art of Brittany in France. Over the past decade, she has worked independently within Cairo’s artistic and cultural scene, creating visual identities, printed designs, illustrations, and comics.
Omar Moftah
Co-Founder and Creative Director
Co-founder and Creative Director of Saad the Studio, Director of Photography and photographer. He has experience shooting short films, advertisements, and music videos. He has also published several photo books, including his latest book “The German Experience,” which documents his journey through several German cities.
Aya kamel
Project Manager
Project Manager at Saad Studio, Aya ensures that creative, operational, and collaborative projects run smoothly from concept to execution. She is the central link between the studio’s co-founders, collaborators, service providers, and audiences; coordinating logistics, managing timelines, and supporting communication and documentation. With her organizational skills and background in marketing and cultural communications, she contributes to maintaining Saad's creative flow while keeping all moving parts aligned.
Neamma Khaled
Co-Founder and Head of Production
Neama leads the production, communications, and external relations at Saad the Studio. She is responsible for building sustainable frameworks for the studio’s growth, from securing funding and partnerships to communications and creative positioning. Through her focus on collaboration and outreach, she ensures that the studio operates both as an independent creative platform and as a sustainable cultural initiative.
